Students are the core of the Tannenbaum Chabad House. We encourage you to enhance your college experience by participating in all of our great Jewish activities.
Friday Night Live
Shabbat Shalom! Come to Chabad every Friday night for joyful services followed by a full course home cooked dinner including a variety of themed events — Israeli, Mexican, Italian, and Chinese.
Singing, stories, fellowship, warmth, stimulating discussions, and new campus friends all await you.
Zero pressure, total pleasure. Dinner starts at 7:30pm!
Under the Rabbinical supervision of Rabbi Dov Hillel Klein, Kosher meals are now available Monday through Thursday for lunch and dinner at Allison Dining Hall. Check out the weekly menus at nucuisine.
In addition, Grab-N-Go Kosher Sandwiches are now available at Northwestern’s retail locations – Tech Express and Paws ‘n Go C-Store in Norris.
We have a Shacharis minyan each morning at 7:20am M-F and 8:00am on Sunday. Shabbat services are 15 minutes before sundown on Friday night and at 9:30am on Saturday morning.
The good times do roll at Chabad! Join us for concerts, jam sessions, comedy shows, improv, paintball, White Sox games, Blackhawks games, movie nights, pizza parties, Second City, road trips, and much more.
Bet you can’t name ‘em all yet. But once you’ve experienced the Chanukah, Simchat Torah, and Purim celebrations at Chabad, you’ll wish there were more.
Meaningful and easy-to-follow Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services at Norris, Sukkot in our colossal Succah, and Passover Seders all await you.
You may be away from home, but you’ll hardly know it.
Chabad programming is planned by the Student Board. More information to come.
If you’re coming to campus for a visit please stop by the Chabad House — Rabbi Klein would love to meet you. You can contact Rabbi Klein with any questions about our campus or Chabad programming. We look forward to seeing you here in the fall!
